The Last Vacation Day of Summer

Another day off! The last vacation day of the summer.

Yesterday, after work I took Bandit for a walk. We hiked for a good hour through the back streets of my sister's area and through an old cemetery and into the woods. He loved it. Anything to be out and about wearing his leash.

Didn't end up seeing Student last night. I was still getting over my baby cold so we rearranged plans. I'll head down this afternoon and met him after he gets out of work. Works out better for me because this morning I have my court hearing regarding last year's car accident. I didn't want that hanging over my head with him last night. I'm a little nervous about the court hearing but confident that everything will work out.

After the hearing, I have a couple errands to do -- run to the bank, gym or jog etc. Then I'm going to head down to the South Shore and do some shopping at the outlets. It'll be closer to Student plus I'll bypass all the afternoon traffic heading to the cape.

What else? I don't know. Not much has been going on. Work is work. And, I've been doing well emotionally...no crying episodes since I've moved here. Well, maybe one but that was because I stubbed my toe changing the sheets. It's nice to have company around. I never realized how much I missed that. Even when X and I were together it was really just the two of us and Bandit -- not a lot visitors. I guess we were a bit reclusive.

Now I come home, have a nice dinner and chat with Chuck or my sister. I read the paper, relax, take Bandit for a walk then read or do some work and go to bed early.

It's nice.
