Frozen!

Frozen pipes! What was once a mild winter has more recently turned bitter cold. Yesterday was a balmy 5 degrees. Wouldn't you know the forced hot water in the upstairs of my brother-in-law's home was no longer hot. It was frozen. One of the pipes over the porch not being properly insulated caused the heat to stop circulating. Last night we slept with space heaters. The plumber just came and wrapped it with electric insulation and it just thawed, flooding the basement.

Bandit and I kept each other warm underneath the blankets. Though I hugged my pillow for warmth. It wasn't all that bad the space heaters worked well.

Glad you kept toasty warm! We had a blizzard last night but thankfully the power stayed on except for about 10 minutes

Yikes! That's one reason to live down here in NC. You know what they say, "for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction".

Stay toasty warm, Rick!

Glad you staying warm. The high here yesterday was 6. I tried to go for a walk, but my face was freezing so I cut it short and came home. It's going to get worse before it gets better.
