Ty Pennington Extreme "Gay" Hangover?

"C'mon big boy...get over here."

Ty Pennington, the hunk on ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, was charged with a DUI last weekend. Bandit Talks has been receiving tons of hits with people stopping by to ask: Is Ty Pennington gay?

What? You think only us queers drink? Must be his gay-friendly co-worker Daniel Kucan that's drawing people here

I never really questioned Ty Pennington's sexuality. He's definitely a metrosexual but as far as being gay? I doubt it. Sorry girls...I mean gay guys.

He's certainly good looking. On the other hand Daniel Kucan, former EMHE colleague, is a different story. I think he leans, has leaned or has the potential to lean on, with and beside members of the same sex. But who really cares? Being gay these days is no longer a stigmata. It's a big publicity-getter.

I've never found Ty to be attractive. There's something (and I can't quite put my finger on it) that seems odd about him.

He is attractive and no, he is not gay. He is in a relationship with Drea Bock...oh, what a lucky girl!

Ty is gorgeous, but he's way too off the wall for me to find him attractive in any more than a superficial sense.

Seems like a very nice guy though.

Ive seen him out at Hunters in Palm Springs. Hunters is a gay bar, but that doesnt meant that he is gay.

Ty is the farthest thing from gay. He is extremely attractive and has a beautiful aura about himself :) Plus he does NOT look 45. Hotness to the max! :)

Ty made an appearance in Kansas City a few years ago for a booksigning-and made a nightcap at MB's that night. Very hot on the dancefloor in skintight jeans and t-shirt...nice abs and the perkiest nipples all night!

OK, lets talk about how the game is played with the media and Hollywood. I'm going to start by using a recent example of exactly what I mean. Robin Roberts, for years whenever one would do an internet search about her life, a few things become clear and invisible @ the same time. Its not just Robin, but remember, I'm using her as an example. No web site ever mentions if Robin Roberts had ever been in love or in a relationship with anyone of any kind. This is the opposite for when you look up anyone straight that's single or have never been linked romantically to anyone. (Or the media makes it appears that way) Anything you read about Roberts up until when she recently, publicly "Came Out." You couldn't find anything about her sexual preference, she appears to be A-sexual in any bio written about her(hard copy or internet). Straight people typically tend to not be closeted about who they are in love with how ever short the period of time they are with someone is. Robin works for ABC a very powerful media outlet, they are clever when it comes to their golden employees. Any media outlet is clever like this too not just TV news organizations, record labels releasing information about their golden employees like, Ricky Martin,Luther Vandross Martin, have done the same thin, making them appear to be A-sexual when releasing personal information about the two I just mentioned.

My point?

Ty Pennington's personal information comes across as him being A-sexual. I say Ty is Gay. What media outlet put Ty Pennington on the map? ABC (who owns AOL,and other social media outlets) Robin works for ABC. In our currant state of media the internet has become a more powerful tool then we all want to realize. Anyone closeted in their sexuality who never mention who they find attractive,or who they are seeing sexually or dating, practice this same Asexual appeal are gay. Straight people only hide who they love if the other person is married. Thats the only difference. Someone on here commented.. "Its not longer a stigma to be gay these days." It still is,anyone willing to hide something is stigmatizing it. Not just that, people are still murdered and discriminated against in this country for being Gay. Thats a stigma. This debate about gay marriage, the religious community stigmatizes this. Wake up people. Ty Pennington is gay. The golden employees must make that money at all cost, media outlets what their money and will protect it at all cost!
